Of course, it goes without saying that without water our bodies cannot function properly.  As a matter of fact, without it we would cease to exist.  But do we really understand how water can assist with weight loss?

  • Here are the benefits I have noticed from drinking at least 64 oz of water daily:
  • Regular bowel elimination, which helps to flush out toxins and waste in your body.
  • Helps to also eliminate and flush out fat in the body.
  • More energy throughout the day.
  • Drinking a glass 15-20 minutes before eating helps to curb your appetite.
  • Helps with headaches, back pain and tiredness, which can occur because of dehydration.
  • Hydrates your skin and gives you a clearer skin complexion.

As you can see above, the power of water cannot be denied.  So, did you have your 8 glasses of water today?

Here's to your health!

Why Ardyss Plus Vitamins? Ever since I can remember I have taken vitamins. When I was little child I took one shape like a character a breakfast – not really understanding why though. As I got older I started to realize the importance of vitamins. I was not getting the nutrients I needed from my meals alone and my doctor advised me that I should be taking supplements. So over the years I have taken vitamins from big chain stores and local health food stores but none have ever worked as well as the liquid vitamin Ardyss plus. First the vitamin is liquid so NO HORSE PILLS! You mix it with a glass of water and drink – it that easy. It also tastes good so this is not a chore.

The best thing about the Ardyss Plus Vitamins is not that it’s liquid or that it tastes good but that IT WORKS plain and simple! I am a skeptical as the next person. I had heard stories from others about having colds that disappearing in a matter of days by taking Ardyss Plus. I thought it was great, but it was not until I saw the results for myself did I become a believer.

My story - The weather is changing and I feel a little tickle in my throat – uh oh the inevitable fall cold in coming. My boyfriend suggests I try the Ardyss Plus. I take a dose before bed and I kid you not – by the morning it’s as if it never happened. I am hooked. I take my Ardyss plus every day. Sometimes by itself and sometimes in my Ardyss Nutrishake, but everyday to be sure.

So of course I have to spread the word to my friends and acquaintances. I was at a distributor meeting and shared my experience with one my fellow distributors who was not feeling well and planned to call in sick the next day. I made her promise to take the Ardyss Plus when she got home and she said she would. A day later I received a text – Hi Nikki its Enid - The Ardyss Plus worked! I know it must have because she felt compelled to find my number and let me know!

I have found with the Ardyss Plus people call to let you know that it’s working and its great to hear. Its time to live a healthier life and this all natural product can help you do just that. So if you have the opportunity please try this product it’s by far one of the best that I have used. Ardyss also has many other products that help with a variety of health concerns.

What I have noticed is many people are overwhelmed when creating a weight loss plan, and this makes sense. We are bombarded with weight loss advice from magazines, TV, and the Internet not to mention advice from friends, family members and coworkers. All this leads to information overload and becomes quite confusing yet losing weight is not complicated once the unnecessary fluff is removed.

What is the Right Weight Loss Mindset?

The way you think impacts the results you see on the scale. If you want insight into your current weight loss mindset just take a look at your current results and thinking.

Do you think of weight loss as a chore? Do you figure you will go on a diet for a while so you can get your weight down and then life can get back to “normal”? Have you been battling your weight for years? Do you lose weight only to gain it back plus a few extra pounds?

These thought and frustrating results are indicators of a weight loss mindset that does not support your weight loss efforts. To lose weight and keep it off you must create a weight loss mindset that works with your diet and exercise efforts. You want to create a mindset that looks at eating healthy and exercising as something that feels good and has many benefits and that you enjoy doing for your body.

Creating a beneficial mindset is not hard to learn yet very few people take the time to work on this area because its importance is undervalued yet once you “get” how important your thoughts are you quickly recognize this as the missing link that has been keeping you overweight.

Many people find they need some guidance to create a new mindset, and this leads me to discuss the importance of having ongoing support, that you will find by joining the 60 day weight loss challenge.

The time is now to start to take control of our bodies and minds.   No one knows what tomorrow holds but we do know that today, right now, this very second, we can start to make a change!
Start to record your daily intake. The discipline of recording your food intake can nearly double the weight loss you would've had without committing pen to paper.

Helpful tips

Some of the patterns that can lead to weight loss success are:

  • Reducing fast food and take-out meals. Those who ate fewer meals out often did better, Stevens said. “Lunch is an issue for many people, and we found if they pack their own lunch then they get to control their portion size and what they’re eating and not someone in a commercial kitchen.”
  • Eating breakfast
  • Getting 180 weekly minutes of structured physical activity such as walking, biking or swimming. Participants got an average of 112 minutes a week,  exercise is especially important in the weight maintenance phase.
  • Setting a daily calorie budget. Some participants set a limit of 1,500 calories a day and stopped consuming additional calories when they hit that number.
  • Creating the right environment to control your weight. That means keeping company with people who, say, go to a gym regularly or bring their lunches to work and staying away from things that trigger your food weaknesses.

Yoga Pose: Tadasana (Mountain Pose)'Tadasana, is a pose that can be done whenever your standing still. Yoga is not only practiced on the mat but can be practiced as we go about our daily tasks. Try this pose while standing on line at the bank.

Tadasana is the foundation for all standing poses. At least one foot in every standing pose is in Tadasana. Everything builds from the ground up. When you stand firm and tall as a mountain, you can increase awareness of what’s going on in your own body.

Stand with your feet together or hips distance apart. Make sure your toes are parallel to the floor. Gently lift all ten toes and spread them as wide as is still comfortable, and then set them back down. Each person has an arch on the outside and the inside of their foot; gently lift these arches up. Start to slowly shift your weight very subtly between both feet until you find a sense of balance.

Hatha is the balance of two sides; the sun and the moon, man and woman, hot and cold — and this pose is the best way to begin to find that balance in your own body. Close your eyes for a minute and breathe. Find the root of yourself as your feet connect to the earth. Try to gain a sense of being grounded as you balance on all four corners of your feet (your inner heel, your outer heel, the big toe and the little toe).

Lift the inner and outer ankles evenly as you draw your knees up. Flex your quads and hamstrings. This will help protect the knees as well.

Gently draw your inner thighs back as you drop your tail bone down towards your heels. Your frontal hipbones should lift up. This will create evenness in the pelvis and allow room for the spine to get long.

Use your stomach and lower back muscles to support your lumbar spine and soften your front ribs down. Elongate through all four sides of the waist, and feel your spine getting long.

Lift the top of your sternum from the inside; broaden across the collarbones and move the shoulder blades down your back and towards each other. Elongate the neck while keeping your chin parallel to the floor. Remember to breathe!

You might want to envision a string connecting the top of your head to the ceiling, in order to keep your head evenly placed on your neck. Your arms hang by your sides, palms face forward.

Now that you’re in your mountain pose, close your eyes and breathe. Feel the connection of your body to the earth and the lightness that can be felt when your body is truly in balance.

Benefits of Tadasana (Mountain Pose):

- Improves arches in feet
- Builds strong posture
- Can help with sciatica
- Builds strength in ankles, knees and legs
- Allows Prana to move freely throughout the body
- Resting posture

Hi everyone, I'm getting back on track from the Holidays.  Although I didn't overeat, I did allow myself to have some of the things that I truly liked.  I was surprised at first that I didn't overeat and then I realized that I was taking my Ardyss LeVive and my AM/PM, which really helps.  However, I didn't do much exercising for about 2 weeks.

I have a really bad cold, so as soon as it clears up I'll start my 30-minutes of exercise daily again and replace one of my meals with the NutriShake9.  I would like to see a 20 pound weight loss by March 1st.

Ready to be healthy!

Here's to reaching your weight loss goals.

The 2009 holiday season was typically busy and regretfully I got off course with my diet and weight goals. I caught a cold over the holidays and self medicated with all the comfort food I could find.  Along with the holiday fare I can honestly say I am now pleasingly plump.  My clothes are not happy with my additional weight and the mirror is rather disturbed with me as well.

Going forward, I am taking this time to get my act together for the Spring and Summer. My team and I will change our junk food habits, lose weight and stretch our limbs and exercise.

Teamwork and accountability go hand in hand. Therefore, I will surround myself with a small group of likeminded people, teach what I know first hand about Ardyss products and practice what I'll preach.

Within 60 days my group and I will be leaner, healthier, and well educated about nutrition.

Whole foods and nutrients is what our bodies really crave.

A positive self image and a healthy relationship with food is what our bodies want to portray.
