Everyone has a WHY when it comes to weight loss and their health. My personal WHY is my PURPOSE. I know that my purpose in life if to TEACH. As a teacher, I motivate and encourage others to be their best. Therefore, I must be at my best so I can lead by example. My HEALTH and WEALTH are important factors that I have control over and so do you! Either I can sit at home and complain about my body and my pockets OR I can get up and take action! LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!

So I am asking you...WHAT IS YOUR "WHY"? And what steps will you take to reach your goals?

REMEMBER...It all starts with your THOUGHTS and VISION. Claim your victory NOW and envision yourself at the finish line! SEE YOU THERE ;-)

The time is now to start to take control of our bodies and minds.   No one knows what tomorrow holds but we do know that today, right now, this very second, we can start to make a change!
Start to record your daily intake. The discipline of recording your food intake can nearly double the weight loss you would've had without committing pen to paper.

Helpful tips

Some of the patterns that can lead to weight loss success are:

  • Reducing fast food and take-out meals. Those who ate fewer meals out often did better, Stevens said. “Lunch is an issue for many people, and we found if they pack their own lunch then they get to control their portion size and what they’re eating and not someone in a commercial kitchen.”
  • Eating breakfast
  • Getting 180 weekly minutes of structured physical activity such as walking, biking or swimming. Participants got an average of 112 minutes a week,  exercise is especially important in the weight maintenance phase.
  • Setting a daily calorie budget. Some participants set a limit of 1,500 calories a day and stopped consuming additional calories when they hit that number.
  • Creating the right environment to control your weight. That means keeping company with people who, say, go to a gym regularly or bring their lunches to work and staying away from things that trigger your food weaknesses.

Yoga Pose: Tadasana (Mountain Pose)'Tadasana, is a pose that can be done whenever your standing still. Yoga is not only practiced on the mat but can be practiced as we go about our daily tasks. Try this pose while standing on line at the bank.

Tadasana is the foundation for all standing poses. At least one foot in every standing pose is in Tadasana. Everything builds from the ground up. When you stand firm and tall as a mountain, you can increase awareness of what’s going on in your own body.

Stand with your feet together or hips distance apart. Make sure your toes are parallel to the floor. Gently lift all ten toes and spread them as wide as is still comfortable, and then set them back down. Each person has an arch on the outside and the inside of their foot; gently lift these arches up. Start to slowly shift your weight very subtly between both feet until you find a sense of balance.

Hatha is the balance of two sides; the sun and the moon, man and woman, hot and cold — and this pose is the best way to begin to find that balance in your own body. Close your eyes for a minute and breathe. Find the root of yourself as your feet connect to the earth. Try to gain a sense of being grounded as you balance on all four corners of your feet (your inner heel, your outer heel, the big toe and the little toe).

Lift the inner and outer ankles evenly as you draw your knees up. Flex your quads and hamstrings. This will help protect the knees as well.

Gently draw your inner thighs back as you drop your tail bone down towards your heels. Your frontal hipbones should lift up. This will create evenness in the pelvis and allow room for the spine to get long.

Use your stomach and lower back muscles to support your lumbar spine and soften your front ribs down. Elongate through all four sides of the waist, and feel your spine getting long.

Lift the top of your sternum from the inside; broaden across the collarbones and move the shoulder blades down your back and towards each other. Elongate the neck while keeping your chin parallel to the floor. Remember to breathe!

You might want to envision a string connecting the top of your head to the ceiling, in order to keep your head evenly placed on your neck. Your arms hang by your sides, palms face forward.

Now that you’re in your mountain pose, close your eyes and breathe. Feel the connection of your body to the earth and the lightness that can be felt when your body is truly in balance.

Benefits of Tadasana (Mountain Pose):

- Improves arches in feet
- Builds strong posture
- Can help with sciatica
- Builds strength in ankles, knees and legs
- Allows Prana to move freely throughout the body
- Resting posture

Hi everyone, I'm getting back on track from the Holidays.  Although I didn't overeat, I did allow myself to have some of the things that I truly liked.  I was surprised at first that I didn't overeat and then I realized that I was taking my Ardyss LeVive and my AM/PM, which really helps.  However, I didn't do much exercising for about 2 weeks.

I have a really bad cold, so as soon as it clears up I'll start my 30-minutes of exercise daily again and replace one of my meals with the NutriShake9.  I would like to see a 20 pound weight loss by March 1st.

Ready to be healthy!

Here's to reaching your weight loss goals.

The 2009 holiday season was typically busy and regretfully I got off course with my diet and weight goals. I caught a cold over the holidays and self medicated with all the comfort food I could find.  Along with the holiday fare I can honestly say I am now pleasingly plump.  My clothes are not happy with my additional weight and the mirror is rather disturbed with me as well.

Going forward, I am taking this time to get my act together for the Spring and Summer. My team and I will change our junk food habits, lose weight and stretch our limbs and exercise.

Teamwork and accountability go hand in hand. Therefore, I will surround myself with a small group of likeminded people, teach what I know first hand about Ardyss products and practice what I'll preach.

Within 60 days my group and I will be leaner, healthier, and well educated about nutrition.

Whole foods and nutrients is what our bodies really crave.

A positive self image and a healthy relationship with food is what our bodies want to portray.

My new attitude was a result of my eyes seeing that the Body Magic garment was all that it said it was. Over the past couple of years I had developed a spare tire where my waistline once was. I was very unhappy with what I keep seeing in the mirror, I had tried to change my eating habits and adding exercise to my day. It didn't work because I had no energy to go work out and I only ate once a day if that.  My life and mind set started changing after being introduced to Ardyss Int'l and their products. However the day I received my garment, put it and started consuming the products  and saw the difference it was a wrap from that point on. I started wearing clothed that I would have never worn before, and my confidence went through the roof as others noticed and commented on the difference. When all is said and done I plan to be in a size 9-10 and be at the weight of 145lbs.  So the answere to the question of what leads to a new attitude is Ardyss Internationals line of nutritional products and reshaping garments.
